Vickie Jean Landry

Vickie Jean Landry, 60, a resident of Gibson passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013. Vickie was born in Morrisdale, Pennsylvania the daughter of Burton English, Sr. and Mary Hubler. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Byron Landry of Gibson; mother, Mary Hubler Askey and husband Fred Askey, Sr.of Phillipsburg, Pa; four children, Heather Landry Gordon of Houma, Joshua Landry of Gibson, Hope Landry and Jeannine Landry both of Bakersfield, Calif.; eleven grandchildren, Bryce Landry, Caleb Gordon, Kade Gordon, Alyiha Landry, Valerie Parsons, Christopher Parsons, Patrick Parsons, Joshua Parsons, Brian Tilmon, Jr., Briley Sue Tilmon, and Anthony Juneau. Vickie is also survived by three sisters, Loretta Flegal, Penny Baltimore, Cindy Boudreaux; five brothers, Burton English, Jr., Barry English, Fred Askey, Jr., Michael Askey, and James Lowe. Vickie was preceded in death by her father Burton English, Sr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July, 12, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service on Friday at the funeral home. Vickie will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
