Gwendolyn Derise Thompson

Gwendolyn “Gwen” Derise Thompson, 54, a resident of Berwick and a native of Morgan City, passed away at Tulane Medical Center, Friday, April 18, 2008. Gwen is the daughter of Florence Babin Derise and the late Hilton J. Derise. Gwen is survived by her son, Seth W. Thompson of Berwick, her mother, Florence Derise of Morgan City, one brother, Russell “Rusty” Derise of Patterson, two sisters, Tanya M. Derise of Berwick, Lori A. Derise of Morgan City and her dear friend Margaret Darce of Patterson and her beloved canine "Gracie". Gwen is preceded in death by her father, Hilton J. Derise Sr.,her brother, Kenneth “LiL Ken” Derise. A Memorial service will be held, Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm. Flowers are welcome or a donation can be made in Gwen’s name to the American Heart & Lung Association.
