Lizetta Mary LaCoste

Lizetta Rink LaCoste August 27, 1921 August 29, 2013 Lizetta R. LaCoste, 92, a native of Bayou Chene and resident of Berwick passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Lizetta was very active in the Alter Ladies Society at church and a very devoted Christian. She expressed her love very deeply for her family by being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to them all. Lizetta had such a sweet way about her that even her friends always felt like one of the family. She is and will always be sorely missed by all who knew her. Lizetta is survived by her daughter, Barbara Ratcliff and husband, Randy Jr. of Morgan City; one son, Ira LaCoste and wife, Tammy of Bayou Vista; eight grandchildren: Brad Ratcliff Sr., Randyl Ratcliff, Kellie Ruiz, Wendy Deslotte, Troy LaCoste, Eric LaCoste, John Thomas and Shantel Williams; 16 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one sister, Vera Mae Dehart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lydia Rink Sr.; her husband, Ira O. LaCoste; sister Lela Lombass; two brothers: Edward Rink and Frank Rink Jr. and one great grandson, Chase LaCoste. Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 6pm until 9pm and will resume on Sunday, Sept. 1 2013 at St. Stephens Catholic Church beginning at 1pm until service at 2pm. She will be laid rest in the Berwick Mausoleum with her husband.
