Joyce Loupe Fonseca

Joyce Loupe Fonseca, 83, a resident of Patterson and a native of Kraemer, LA, passed away Friday, May 9, 2008 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Joyce was a member of the St. Mary AARP, she enjoyed cooking and crocheting. Joyce also enjoyed woodworking. Joyce is survived by one daughter, Vikki Sons and her husband Tommy of Morgan City, two sisters, Dolly Madere of Des Allemands, LA and Jane Gros of Des Allemands, LA. Four grandchildren, David Sons and his wife Angie, Benji Sons and his wife Terri, Courtland Sons, Madison Grace Sons and three step-grandchildren, Alisha Flenner, Stephanie Flenner and Rebeka Flenner, also survive Joyce. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Fourtunia and Elda Chaisson Loupe, one sister, Hilda Gros and one brother, Peter Loupe. Visitation will be held at twin City Funeral Home, Monday, May 12, 2008 from 6pm until 9pm, resuming at St. Gertrudes Catholic Church in Des Allemands, Tuesday, May 13, 2008 from 9am until 11am. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 11am with Father James Bach officiating. Joyce will be laid to rest in St. Gertrude Catholic Cemetery.
