Carolee Williams Territo, 69, a native and resident of Morgan City, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at her residence. Carolee was a member of the AARP, she loved art, fashion design, crafts and theater productions. Carolee enjoyed a variety of music, especially opera and 50s music. She was fond of Mardi Gras and would attend the many Krewes around the area (Nike, Galatea, Hephaestus), as well as design and make the Krewe’s costumes. Carolee liked to travel and particularly enjoyed her trip to Europe. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. She also cherished her many friends. Carolee was a great lady who will truly be missed.
Carolee is survived by her two daughters; Brigitte Nieland and her husband David of Baton Rouge, Barri Moore and her husband Bert of Hohenwald, TN., three sons; Bret Territo of Baton Rouge, Bart Territo of Fort Bragg, NC., Brian Territo and his fiancee Norma Brazzell of Morgan City, her mother, Eula Mae Williams, two brothers, Gary Williams and his wife Sharon of Iowa, LA., Timothy Williams and his wife Roxie of Chauvin, two sisters; Deborah Bonvillian and her husband Kenneth of Houma and Barbara Brown and her husband Bob of Morgan City. Six grandchildren, Jake Territo, Zachary Aucoin, Alexandra Aucoin, Madeleine Moore, Quinn Moore and Thaddeus Moore, also survive Carolee.
Carolee was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Territo, her father Stanley Williams Sr., two brothers, Stanley Williams Jr. and Lonnie Daniel Williams.
The family would like to thank Bayou Region Hospice, especially Grace and Eleanor, for their care and dedication to Carolee.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 16, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 9am until 11am. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 11am. Carolee will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery.
