Gay Henry Besse

Gay Henry Besse January 21, 1933 September 21, 2013 Gay Henry Besse, 80, a lifelong resident of Morgan City passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Morgan City Health Care. Gay worked for Mayon Brothers for 25 years and later retired with Dominoe Lincoln Ford dealership in Morgan City. He later came out of retirement to work for Lirette Ford because he enjoyed detailing cars. He loved to dance and attend the festivals in the area. He especially enjoyed riding his bicycle around town. Gay will be tremendously missed . Gay is lovingly remembered by his two sisters: Mable Besse Lester of Morgan City and Marie Louise Toups of Athen, LA along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Annett Besse Sr.; three brothers: Marvin, Alex and Charles Besse Jr.; three sisters: Frances Norman, Elizabeth Besse and Eula Mae Gast. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 9am until time of service at 3pm. He will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
