Rita Mae Alfred Clark

Rita Mae Alfred Clark, 74, Rush Springs, Oklahoma, passed away, Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family. Rita was born Tuesday, May 15, 1934 in Pierre Part, LA to Alfred and Marie (Domangue) Grandin. Rita enjoyed crocheting and sewing, she was an excellent cook as well. Rita loved camping and family gatherings. She attended school in Pierre Part, LA. She lived in Franklin, LA before moving to Rush Springs, Oklahoma. Rita is survived by her husband, Roy Lee Clark Sr. of Rush Springs, OK. Five sons; Bernie Alfred Jr. and his wife Pauline of Rush Springs, OK., David Alfred and his wife Sue of Rush Springs, OK., Gerard Alfred and his wife Jane of Franklin, LA., Bede Alfred and his wife Susan of Bayou Vista, LA., Roy Lee Clark Jr. of Little Rock, AR., six Daughters: Karen Knight of Morgan City, LA., Debbie Beadle and her husband Darrel of Franklin, LA., Bridget Thibodeaux of Morgan City, LA., Carla Autin and her husband Chuck of Franklin, LA., Regina Brown and her husband Richard of Rush Springs, OK., and Becky Clark of Rush Springs, OK., two sisters: Helen Billiot of Bayou Vista, LA., and Lorretta Beach of MS. 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren also survive Rita. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister, one grandson, her grandparents and one son-in-law. A memorial will be held Thursday, June 5, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 10am until 2pm. The funeral service will begin at 2pm. Memorial contributions may be made in Rita honor to the Cancer or Heart Research Foundations.
