Mary L. Pierron

Mary L. Pierron, 57, a resident of Morgan City passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Mary was born on December 13, 1956 in Lafayette the daughter of Etiene and Hazel Thibodeaux Lyons. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Whitney F. Pierron of Morgan City; step-daughter Stacy Giroir and husband Roy of Berwick; three grandchildren, Courtney Aucoin, Hunter Aucoin, Bre Anna Giroir; one brother, James Lyons of Bayou Vista; six nieces, Christina Lyons, Stephanie Lyons, Samantha Lyons, Jessica Lyons, Kelly Oubre, Patricia Hebert; one nephew, Anthony Lyons; numerous great nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and one niece, Diana Freeman. A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Lighthouse Community Church in Berwick. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the church.
