Louis Keller

Louis “Jake” Keller, 84, a resident of Morgan City and a native of Bayou L’Ourse, passed away, Monday, June 30, 2008 at the Morgan City Health Care facility. Jake is survived by his wife of 44years, Theresa Hebert Keller of Morgan City, three daughters: Joell Keller Baton Rouge, Holli Keller of Baton Rouge, Terri Keller Johnson and her husband Joey of Ethel, La., one brother, David Lee Keller and his wife Bobbie of Grove Hill, Al., Five sister: Agnes Robicheaux of Morgan City, Ethel Aucoin of Morgan City, Maggie Vidos of Stephensville, Pasty LaVerne and her husband Teddy of Morgan City and Peggy Morgan of Lafayette. Jake is also survived by two grandchildren, Owen Johnson and Wyatt Johnson. Jake is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Maggie Blanco Keller, one sister Bernice Aucoin, two brothers, Eugene Keller and Raymond “Pete” Keller. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, July 01, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm. The visitation will resume at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 9am until 10am. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 10am with Father Greg Fratt officiating. Jake will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery.
