Danny D. Lenard

Daniel "Danny" D. Lenard, 59, a resident of Bayou Vista passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 at his home. Danny was born July 11, 1954 in Elgin, Illinois the son of Dan Lenard and Susie Wendler Lenard. Danny enjoyed being in the outdoors hunting and fishing but especially loved running his dogs and going to the camp. He was an avid fan of old western movies and country music. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his fiancé, Sheila Bailey of Bayou Vista; three children, Daniella Gilley of Dallas, Texas, Ryan Lenard and Krista Lenard both of Monroe; step-mother, Jean Lenard of West Monroe; one grandchild; three sisters, Stacey Lenard, Laurie Brown, Kimberly Pierick all of Arizona. Danny was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Central Baptist Church in Patterson with a memorial service being held at 3:00 p.m.
