Faye Reynaud

Faye Smith Reynaud, 81, of North Sewickley Township, Pa., formerly of Morgan City, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2008, in the Passavant Retirement Center in Zelienople, Pa. Born July 12, 1926, in Morgan City, she was the wife of the late Kenward Harold Reynaud Sr. (1955) and was the daughter of the late Charles E. Smith Sr. and Sweedie J. (Randall) Smith. She was a bookkeeper for the St. Mary Parish School Board in Morgan City and was a member of the Pharr Chapel Methodist Church in Morgan City. Faye was an avid reader and crocheter. She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jesse Sr. and Nannette Reynaud; two brothers, Creighton Smith and Charles E. Smith Jr.; three sisters, Dorothy Aucoin, Marjorie Soumeillan and Sadie Rector; four sisters-in-law, Ruth Delaune, Joyce Smith, Amy Reynaud and Puddin Reynaud; and seven brothers-in-law, Elton “Pickle” Vernon, Roy Smith, Guy Delaune, Chick Aucoin, Lester Rector and Sou Soumeillan. Surviving are two sons, Kenward Harold Jr. and Sharon Reynaud, of Baton Rouge and John Harold Reynaud and Jerrine McClelland, Gainesville, Fla.; a daughter, Melissa H. and Roy D. Lee of North Sewickley Township, Pa.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jesse Reynaud Jr. of Morgan City; Jeanette Reynaud; Max and Iris (Reynaud) Miller of Patterson; Francis “Sonny” and Lou Reynaud of New Iberia and Shirley Smith of Baton Rouge; a sister, Betty and Lonnie Hilgerson of Baton Rouge; seven grandchildren, Kenward Reynaud III and Zoe Reynaud, both of Baton Rouge; Anna Reynaud and Nick Reynaud, both of Gainesville, Fla.; Alyssa and Mike Young of New Sewickley Township, Pa., and Chelsea Lee and Kurstyn Lee, both of North Sewickley Township, Pa., and three great-grandchildren, Emily and Erica Young, and Abednego “Ben” Thomas. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
