Nellie Blereau

Nellie Ann Fisher Blereau, born August 25, 1938, in Pass Christian, MS, to Luvenia Peterson and George Fisher, died July 24, 2008, in Alaska. Nellie is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dr. Robert Paul Blereau of Morgan City, LA. She is also survived by her 3 daughters, Melissa Russell and her husband David of Bellingham, WA, Marcia Denning of Morgan City, & Maria Blereau of Thibodaux, LA. Also surviving her are her 4 grandchildren, Samantha Schaubhut, Justin Russell, Hailey and Ashley Denning. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday, August 1, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City with a mass to follow at 11 a.m. Nellie will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
