Maxine White

Maxine White, 84, a resident of Berwick and a native of San Francisco, Ca., passed away at her residence, Monday, August 11, 2008. Maxine is survived by her five sons; Roger White and his wife Cindy of Stephensville, Hugh White and his wife Rita of Baton Rouge, Frank White and his wife Debra of Smackover, Ark., Danny White and his wife Tina of Smackover, Ark., and Donnie White of Houston, TX. Maxine is also survived by one brother, Bill Cherry and his wife Janie of Springfield, LA., and eleven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Ray White Sr., her parents, Lawrence and Georgia Cherry, one son, Lawrence White and one grandson, Roger White Jr. Pallbearers to serve: Billy White, Leo White, Jonathan White, Joshua White, Douglas White, Chris Weber and Honorary Pallbearer, Lawrence White Jr. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm. The visitation will resume Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 9am until 11am. The funeral service will commence at 11am. Maxine will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
