George Larry Garner Sr. September 2, 1959 July 5, 2014 George Larry Garner Sr., 54, a native of Alexandria and resident of Pierre Part passed away at his residence on Saturday, July 5, 2014. George is survived by his two daughters: Bertha Garner and Fiancee', Julian Templet of Pierre Part and Jessica Garner of Pierre Part; one son, George L. Garner Jr. and wife Casey of Pierre Part; eight grandchildren: Heather, Cole, Sadie, Logan Skyler, Taylor, Aisley and Bentley; four sisters: Patti Kurtz and husband Steve of Las Vegas, Nelda Comeaux and husband Ronnie of Morgan City, Joyce Ashworth of Pineville and Brenda Aucoin and husband Wilbert of Pierre Part along with numerous nieces and nephews. George was preceded in death by his parents, Olzro and Mary Crooks Garner. Visitation will take place at Twin City Funeral Home on Thursday, July 10, 2014 beginning at 5pm until 9pm and will resume on Friday, July 11, 2014 at the funeral home beginning at 9am until time of service at 12pm. He will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery
