Charles Brian Bowers August 21, 1962 August 14, 2014 Charles Brian Bowers, 51, a native of Portmouth, VA and a resident of Morgan City passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Chabert Medical Center in Houma, LA. Charles was an avid card and domino player and enjoy fishing as well. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and spoil them as much as he could. He spent much of his life on the water and was a hard worker. Everyone who knew him liked him and will miss him deeply. Charles will be remembered by his loving wife, Alice B. Bowers of Morgan City; his father, Michael Bowers Sr. and his mother, Bonnie Howbert; four step-children: Eddie Deslattes, Matthew Deslattes, Nicholas Deslattes and Michelle Deslattes; four grandchildren: Shaletha, Jasmine, Jacob and Jeremiah; two great grandchildren: Jarvis Jr. and Jazrielle along with three brothers: Robert Bowers, Michael Bowers Jr. and Jeffery Bowers. Charles was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Edna and Rad Custer and paternal grandparents: Eddie and Georgia Bowers. The family will be holding a private Memorial Service at a later date.
