Frank Murlin Rulf, 78, a resident of Bayou L'Ourse passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014 at his home. Frank was born on July 15, 1936 in Berwick the son of Frank Joseph Rulf and Lydia Givens Rulf. Frank enjoyed being in the great outdoors down the bayou at the camp, in the boat fishing, or hunting. Of all the things Frank did in his life the one he cherished the most was spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Leona Sauce Rulf of Bayou L'Ourse; five children, Murlin Joseph Rulf of Bayou L'Ourse, Peggy Sue Lovell and husband Julius Jr. of Bayou L'Ourse, Sally Ann Bourg and husband Rudy of Napoleonville, Jimmie Rogers Rulf and wife Renee of Bayou L'Ourse, Bobbie Lynn Rulf of Bayou L'Ourse; ten grandchildren, Candy Lynn Scully and husband Bryan, Jill Lynn Lovell, Randy Paul Lovell and fiancé Kara Henry, Mandy Bourg Davis, Dustin Michael Bourg and fiancé Abbie Burt, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Bourg, Jimmy Shane Rulf and fiancé Shaina Toups, Joseph Michael Rulf, Jacob Daniel Rulf, Brooke Nicole Rulf. Frank is also survived by nine great grandchildren; four sisters, Bessie Hastings and husband Tom, Lydia Alemand and husband Calvin, Shelby Cantrell and husband Jessie, Diana Blakesly. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Elwood Rulf; one sister-in-law, Doris Bigler Rulf. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Twin City Funeral Home with Pastor John Locasico officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m.
