Geraldine Ann Dinger January 12, 1951 September 17, 2014 Geraldine Ann Dinger, 63, a lifelong resident of Morgan City passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. Geraldine enjoyed spending time spoiling all her grandchildren whenever she could and making sure they were happy. She was known as a person who never kept record of wrongs done unto her and forgave easily. Geraldine loved to dance and pass a good time listening to Elvis. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Geraldine will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Wilton Dinger of Bayou Vista; one daughter, Christel Roy Hicks and husband, Tripp of Berwick; two sons: James W. Bennett Jr. and wife, Paula of Morgan City and Irvin Chauvin and wife, Tammy of Bayou Vista; six grandchildren: Brooke Roy, Hannah Roy, Kate Hicks, Joan Bennett, James W. Bennett III and Michael Chauvin; three step-children: Rhonda Beniot, Shane Dinger and Aaron Dinger; three sisters: Linda Boudreaux of Morgan City, Lola Mae Cuvillier and husband, Ray of Maure Pas and Patricia Paray of Bayou Vista; one brother, Everett Verrett Jr. and wife, Linda of Natchitoches along with numerous nieces and nephews. Geraldine was preceded in death by her first husband, James W. Bennett Sr. and her parents, Everett and Lola Verrett Sr. Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 9am until 10:30am and a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the mass.
