Gertrude Elizabeth Lombas

Gertrude Elizabeth Lombas, 76, a resident of Berwick and a native of Patterson, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Gertrude is survived by one son, James Lombas Jr. of Berwick, two daughters, Sharon Guidry of Patterson, Brenda Businelle, five grandchildren, Anthony Businelle and his wife Danielle, Stephanie Barahona and her husband Dario, Bryan Businelle, Timothy Businelle and his wife Abby, and Victoria Bussinelle. Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband, James Lombas Sr., one daughter, her parents, Chester and Victoria Boudreaux Drash, three brothers and a sister. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm. The visitation will resume Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 9am until 10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church at 11am with Father Manny Fernandez officiating. Gertrude will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery.
