Arlene Ann DeHart

Arlene Ann DeHart, 53, a resident of Bayou Vista and a native of Morgan City, passed away in Lafayette, Monday, October 27, 2008. Arlene loved music and cooking. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. Arlene is survived by her husband of 36 years, Allen DeHart of Bayou Vista, two sons, Allen DeHart II and his wife Tammy of Patterson, Ashley DeHart of Bayou Vista, two daughters, Anissa DeHart and her fiancee Jason Rogers of Bayou Vista, Adrienne DeHart and her fiancee Andre Boutte of New Iberia, one brother, Raymond Miller Jr. of Morgan City, seven sisters; Bunny Boudreaux and her husband Merlin of Morgan City, Ora Mae Bates and her husband Richard of Kaplan, Mary McAdams and her fiancee Sidney Nelson of Centerville, Ramona Brizzard and her husband Spencer of Tomball, TX, Doreen Wiggins and her husband Ronnie of Stephensville, Karen Hamilton and her husband Darren of Minden and Josie Crabtree of Stephensville. Arlene was also survived by six grandchildren, Lyssa LeJeune, Jamie LeJeune, Trent DeHart, Brennan Foster, Emily Mendoza and Maryssa Boutte and a host of nieces and nephews. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Bernadette Leonard Miller, and her grandparents. Pallbearers to serve: Allen DeHart II, Michael Brooks, Raymond Miller Jr., Merlin Boudreaux III, Charles Boles, Shawn Adams, Travis Miller, Charles Chatham. Honorary Pallbearers: Trent DeHart, Brennan Foster. The family will receive friends, Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm. The visitation will resume Friday, October 31, 2008 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church from 8am until 10am. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 10am. Arlene will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
