Aswell Young

Aswell Young, 73, a life long resident of Morgan City, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Terrebonne General Medical Center. Aswell enjoyed smoking a good cigar and talking about the old days. Aswell was a dedicated family man and a loyal worker. Aswell is survived by his wife of 51years, Carol Young of Morgan City, two sons, Mark Young and his wife Ellen of Morgan City, John Young and his wife Linda of Morgan City, one daughter, Debra Ann Pillaro and her husband Jake of Morgan City, his mother-in-law, Vina Solar Comeaux. Aswell is also survived by three grandchildren, Jake Pillaro IV, Kayleigh Young, Matthew Young and one great-grandchild, Emily Grace Pillaro. Aswell was preceded in death by his parents, Aswell and Elvie Ackman Young, one grandson, Anthony Pillaro, father-in-law, Chalres Comeaux Sr. and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, November 3, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm. The visitation will resume Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 8am until 10am. Aswell will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
