Andrew Joseph Daigle, 82, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.
Andrew was born on January 11, 1932 in Morgan City, the son of Ernest and Marie Myers Daigle.
Andrew enjoyed his coffee socials with his friends and former coworkers as well spending time with his family. Andrew served his country proudly by serving in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was also employed with Schlumberger for 35 years.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Ann Thibodaux Daigle of Morgan City; one daughter, Tina Daigle Pekar and husband Steve of Lafayette; one granddaughter, Zsofia Rose Pekar of Lafayette; one niece, Audrey Comeaux of Morgan City; one nephew, Wayne Lancon of Milton, Florida.
Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Marie Myers Daigle; one brother, Fernest Daigle; three sisters, Anna Mae Comeaux, Agatha Lancon and Agnes Comeaux.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Monsignor J. Douglas Courville officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of Mass. Andrew will be laid to rest following Mass in the Morgan City Cemetery Mausoleum.
