Mary Guillotte

Mary B. Guillotte, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Bayou Vista, died at Teche Regional Medical Center on Saturday, November 29, 2008. She loved to work cross word puzzles, sewing blankets and quilts, and cooking, especially gumbo. She also enjoyed fishing when she could, and she enjoyed spoiling her children and grandchildren. Mary is survived by her mother, Ella Louise Scadlock Businelle, one son, Michael J Guillotte Jr., of Bayou Vista, two step sons, Robert Randolph of Amelia, and Billy Randolph of Morgan City, three step daughters, Yolanda Duval and her husband Paul of Morgan City, Veanna Businelle of Bayou Lourse, and Elizabeth Robinson and her husband Rick of Missouri. She is also survived by five brothers, Peter, David, Bobby, Donald, and Dudley Businelle, and three sisters, Deborah Gaspard, Sarah Duval, and Rose Hoffman. Mary was predeceased by her father, Peter Norman Businelle, her husband, Michael Joseph Guillotte Sr., a daughter, Mary Melissa Guillotte, and one sister, Ruby Anslum . Visitation will be Monday December 1, 2008, from 6PM until 9PM, and again on Tuesday, Dec 2, 2008 from 9AM until 10AM. Funeral service will begin at 10AM. Burrial will be in the Berwick Cemetery.
