Mildred “Gaile” Hill, 71, a resident of Morgan City passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at her residence.
Gaile was born on December 14, 1943 in Morgan City, the daughter of Ernest and Helen Cloutier Moxley.
Gaile enjoyed reading and sewing as well as watching LSU and Saints football games. She was very involved with her church and was a faithful member of the Church of God of Prophecy. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially watching wrestling with her grandsons as well as spoiling her dogs Daisy and Molly.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters, Wendie Hill and Stormie Dupre and husband Troy both of Morgan City; two grandsons, Donavon Hill and T.J. Dupre both of Morgan City; one granddaughter, Kati-Lyn Dupre of Morgan City. Gaile is also survived by two sisters, Linda Moxley and Lanell Eldredge and husband John both of Morgan City; very close friend, Mary Netterville and husband Edward of Morgan City; numerous nieces and nephews.
Gaile was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Edward “Bubba” Hill; one brother, Gary Moxley.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Morgan City. A memorial visitation will be held prior to the memorial service from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
