Silver Mae Picou September 17, 1935 February 16, 2015 Silver Mae Picou, 79, a lifelong resident of Morgan City passed away on Monday , February 16, 2015 at her residence. Silver is survived by her three brothers: Huey Ganaway of Schriever, Roosevelt Ganaway of Alexandria and the Rev. Charles Ganaway of Bayou L'ourse along with a host of nieces and nephews. Silver was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Picou; parents, Louis and Mary Ganaway; three sisters: Theresa Dupre, Florence Ganaway and Betty Jean Ganaway Benner along with three brothers: Louis, George and Herbert Ganaway. Visitation will take place on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 5pm until 9pm and resume on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 8:30am until time of service at 10am. She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the service.
