Dorothy Lodrigue

Dorothy Lodrigue, 83, resident of Patterson and a native of New Orleans, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2008 in Patterson. Dorothy was a great cook and loved to spoil her kids and grandchildren. Her grandparents Simeon Landry and Caroline Bouterie Landry of Bayou L’Ourse raised Dorothy from the age of 2. Dorothy is survived by her Husband, Emile Gustave Lodrigue Jr., three sons, Bruce Lodrigue and his wife Deborah of Patterson, Lloyd and his friend “Sissy” of Brusly, Dale Lodrigue of Bayou Vista, one daughter, Carol L. Cobb and her husband Jerry of Gibson. Dorothy is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert Landry and sister Lillian Verrett. The visitation will be held Monday, December 8, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm. The visitation will resume Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Twin City Funeral Home from 8am until 11am. Funeral services will commence at 11am. Dorothy will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum.
