Tarlton Anthony Blanco Sr., 88, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at his residence.
Tarlton was born on January 5, 1927 in Stephensville the son of Joseph and Felicite Blanco.
Tarlton loved being outdoors and spending time with his family and taking camping trips. He enjoyed gardening along with fishing and hunting. Tarlton was an exceptional gardener who could grow the largest vegetables. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Verna Mae Blanco of Morgan City; three sons: Anthony Blanco, Roy Blanco both of Patterson, and Ted Blanco and wife Christine of Morgan City, eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, one sister: Enola Blanco of Patterson.
Tarlton was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Felicite Blanco; three brothers: Adam, Sidney and Dudley Blanco along with three sisters: Noemie, Norma and Elodie Blanco.
Visitation will began on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Holy Cross Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of mass at 12:00 p.m. Tarlton will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the Mass of Christian Burial.
