Omicle "Ms. Lee" Letha Ganaway

Omicle Letha "Ms. Lee" Ganaway, 79, a resident of Bayou Vista passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015 at her residence. Ms. Lee was born on March 3, 1936 in Orange, Texas the daughter of Wilson and Omecile Bellard Meaux. Ms. Lee always loved lending a helping hand to others and enjoyed always being on the go. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons, George W. Ganaway Jr. and David Ganaway and wife Joy both of Bayou Vista; one daughter-in-law, Verna Ganaway of Bayou Vista; 11 grandchildren, Jason, Michelle, Michael, Crystal, David Jr., Amber, David, Marc, Gregory Jr., Gary, and Gracey; four great grandchildren. Ms. Lee was preceded in death by her parents Wilson Meaux and Omecile Bellard Meaux; husband, George W. Ganaway Sr; one son, Gregory Ganaway; two brothers, Wilson Meaux and Gene Meaux. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Twin City Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at noon. Ms. Lee will be laid to rest in the Ibert's Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
