Denise Alice Guidry

Denise Alice Guidry April 24, 1963 May 2, 2015 Denise Alice Guidry, 52, a lifelong resident of Morgan City passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at her place of residence. Denise was known as a very loving and caring person who would do anything she could to help people. She opened her heart and home to many of the area's young people. She enjoyed cooking, baking and making sure everyone had plenty to eat. She spent many hours tending her garden and feeding the birds that would come to visit. Her most favorite thing to do was spend time spoiling her two grandchildren, Maddix and Baylee. She loved them so much. Denise was a delight to be around and it was easy making wonderful memories with her. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Denise is survived by her husband, Chris Guidry Sr. of Morgan City; one son, Chris Guidry Jr. and wife, Amanda of Morgan City; one daughter, Lyndsey Guidry of Morgan City; two grandchildren: Maddix and Baylee; one brother, Preston McIntrye Jr. of Morgan City and one sister, Julie Bailey of Morgan City. Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Louann McIntrye Sr. Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Thursday, May 7, 2015 beginning at 9:30am until time of service at 12pm. She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
