Joellen Bergeron

Joellen Bergeron, 52, a resident of Morgan City and a native Bradford, PA passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Joellen was a loving wife and mother. She will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Joellen is survived by her husband of 35 years, Danny Paul Bergeron of Morgan City, one son, Danny Paul Bergeron II of Morgan City, one daughter, Sara Elizabeth Bergeron of Morgan City, her father, Kenneth Charles Turner and her step-mother Shirley of Duncan, OK, one brother, Frederick John Swackhamer of Pine Bluff, AR, two sisters, Terri Ann Jenkins and her husband Danny Mac of Arnaudville and Denna Sue Rich and her husband Jimmy Wayne of Baton Rouge. Joellen was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Jane Turner (Phillips) and a sister, Lori Ann Moleski. The visitation will be held, Friday, January 16, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 9am until 11am. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 11am with Father Greg Fratt officiating. Joellen will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
