Floyd Sons

Floyd Sons, a native and resident of Berwick, died Saturday, January 24, 2009, at M. C. Health Care. He was a member of the New Life Tabernacle Church in Morgan City, and a mechanic by trade. Floyd is survived by two daughters, Cheri Sons, of Broken Arrow, Okla. and Salina Sons of Morgan City, two brothers, Wilber Sons of Morgan City, and Oristile Sons Jr. of Patterson, and one sister, Rosie Miller of Bayou Vista. Floyd was preceded in death by his mother and father, Jessie Givens and Oristile Sons Sr., four brothers, Burl, Homer, James, and Earl Sons, and two sisters, Rachel Toups, and Winnie Hinkle. Visitation will be Monday January 26, 2009 beginning at 6 PM until 9 PM, and again on Tuesday, January 27,2009, from 9AM until 1PM,with funeral service beginning at 1 PM at Twin City Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Berwick Cemetery.
