Julie Porche

Julie Porche, 57, a resident of Bayou Vista and a native of Morgan City, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2009 in Patterson. Julie was a loving mother and grandmother. Julie is survived by her two daughters, Korie Knight and her husband James of Patterson, Lisa Thomas and her husband Kevin of Patterson, one son, Kenneth James Wiggins Jr. and his wife Dawn. Julie is also survived by her mother Edna Verdin Porche,one brother, Brian Billiot of Lake Charles and five grandchildren, Kane and Ciera Wiggins, Mckayla and Mia Knight and Laila Thomas and her long time companion Gary Ward. Julie was preceded in death by her father, Frank Porche and one brother, James Billiot. The visitation will be held Friday, February 6, 2009 at Twin City Funeral Home from 9am until 2pm with a rosary to be said at 1:30pm. The funeral service will commence at 2pm at the funeral home. Julie will be laid to rest in the Berwick Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to St. Judes Cancer Research Hospital.
