Stephen McCleary

Stephen K. McCleary, 51, a resident of Patterson and a native of Sulphur, LA, passed away Friday, February 13, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette. Stephen will be greatly missed by family and friends, especially, Sissy and Honey. Stephen is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Liz” Rhodes McCleary of Patterson, two sons, Stephen K. McCleary II, Patrick Skiles and his wife Emily, one daughter, Aggie McCleary all of Patterson, one brother, Pat McCleary and his wife Barbara of Morgan City, two sisters, Bridget Arcemont and her husband Murphy Jr. of Morgan City and Karen Adams and her husband Bobby of Lafayette. Stephen is also survived by three beautiful granddaughters, Hailee, Peyton and Emma Skiles. Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Abner F. McCleary and his mother, Mary Benich McCleary. The visitation will be held Monday, February 16, 2009 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm, the visitation will resume Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 9am until 11am. A Mass of Christian burial will commence at 11am. Stephen will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
