Arnold Gussman Sr.

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Arnold J. Gussman, Sr. annouces his sadden passing on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Teche Regional Medical Center at the age of 64. He was a wonderful person and will be remembered as a gentle soul and caring person who was loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching the New Orleans Saints play and especially time spent with his grandchildren. Arnold will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Left to cherish is memory is his loving and devoted wife of 44 years Judy Gussman of Morgan City, his loving son Arnold Gussman, Jr. and his wife Candice of Opelousas, LA., his two grandchildren who adored him Madison Gussman and Jalen Frank of Opelousas, LA. He is also survived by his sister Ann Hooper and companion Johnnie Carter and brother Robert Gussman Sr. and wife Elizabeth. As well as loving nieces, nephews and dear friends. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents; Milton Joseph Gussman and Delores Rhodes Gussman. A celebration of life will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, September 26, 2015. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow after in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
