Elena I. Ramirez

Elena I. Ramirez 83, a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Audubon Health & Rehab in Thibodaux. Elena was born on August 13, 1932 in Tampico, Mexico the daughter of Eduardo Izaguirre and Epifania Martinez. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four daughters: Elsa Romo of Bayou Vista, Nora Ramirez of Raceland, Maria Danos and husband, Troy of Raceland and Claudia Ramirez of Bayou Vista; three grandsons: Francisco Romo and wife, Shawnie, Devin Fields and wife Tashi and Dexter Fields; three granddaughters: Cassandra Romo, Jaclyn Fields and Emily Borel along with four great grandchildren; one sister, Carmen Izaguirre and one brother, Constancio Izaguirre. Elena was preceded in death by husband, Franciso Ramirez; parents, Eduardo and Epifania Izaguirre; three sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Twin City Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Twin City Funeral Home and the visitation will resume from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Following services Elena will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
