Hilda Theresa Vidos

Hilda Theresa Vidos 76 a resident of Morgan City, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Teche Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Hilda was born on August 6, 1939 in Pierre Part the daughter of Elton and Mattie Richard Verrett. Hilda was a very loving and caring person who never met a stranger. She was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother who loved her grandchildren dearly. Hilda loved to go to the casino, dancing and listening to Cajun music. She loved to watch the television show The Little People and her favorite channels were Lifetime and QVC. She will be missed by all who knew her. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Wilton Vidos of Morgan City; two daughters, Gayle Vidos Lavergne and husband Paul of Morgan City and Karen Womack and husband Raymond of Morgan City; three sons, Wade Vidos and companion Lisa of Morgan City, Carl Vidos and wife Deborah of Broussard, Gary Vidos and companion Mary of Morgan City; six grandchildren, Ronnie Toups, Callie Lavergne, Mattie Fontenot, Mallory Fontenot, Jeffrey Vidos and Jennifer Moncrief; one great granddaughter, Abbie Toups; one future grandson, Parker Pisani. Hilda was preceded in death by her parents; Elton Verrett and Mattie Richard Verrett; two sisters, Dorothy Turner Verrett and Anita Stokley. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Twin City Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.. Hilda will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
