Nancy Arceneaux

Nancy Arceneaux, 87, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Nancy was a member of the Catholic Daughters, Come Lord Jesus!, a former president of the CCD. Nancy was also a member of a weekly Canasta group for over 50years. Nancy is survived by one son, Francis Leonard Arceneaux of Morgan City, 1 brother, Dr. Carlos Orlando of Morgan City, 2 brother-in-laws, Henry Arceneaux of FL, A.J. “Red” Arceneaux of Morgan City, 2 sister-in-laws, Adele Arceneaux of Morgan City and Joyce Orlando of Morgan City. Nancy is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Arceneaux, 2 brothers, Joseph and Warren Orlando, one sister, Minnie Bell Williams, her parents, Gus and Lena Carso Orlando, 3 sister-in-laws, Yvonne Orlando, Rita Orlando, Dottie Arceneaux and on brother-in-law, Clyde Williams. Pallbearers to serve: Gus Orlando, Don Orlando, C.F. Orlando, Peter Orlando, Mike Williams and Jules Arceneaux. The visitation will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 8am until 10am. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 10am. Nancy will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
