Angeline Rink

July 6, 1916 — March 13, 2009

Angeline Rink, 92, a resident of Morgan City and a native of Bayou Chene, passed away Friday, March 13, 2009 at Teche Regional Medical. Angeline was a member of the Morgan City Volunteer Fire Department, Golden Age 49ers and the Lakewood Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. Angeline loved to spoil all of her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Angeline enjoyed gardening and pokeno. She was very passionate about her politics and still has all of the campaign buttons from over the many years. Angeline is survived by one son, Raymond Rink Sr. of Morgan City, two grandsons, Raymond Rink Jr. of Morgan City, Stephen Rink and his wife Susan of Shreveport, one grand daughter, Gwen Rink of Morgan City, 8 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. Angeline was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Rink, her parents, John and Emily Aucoin LaCoste, 1 sister, 2 brothers, one daughter-in-law, Letsie Rink. The family will receive friends Monday, March 16, 2009 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm. The visitation will resume Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Twin City Funeral Home from 9am until 2pm. The funeral service will commence at 2pm. Angeline will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
