Rena Fabre DeHart Deslatte

Rena Fabre DeHart Deslatte 84, a resident of Morgan City passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Teche Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Rena was born on October 19, 1931 in Berwick, the daughter of Clement Fabre and Tilley Fromenthal Fabre. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters, Debbie DeHart Navarro and husband Ricky of Morgan City and Glenda DeHart Rice and husband David of Houston , Texas; three sons, Pat DeHart and wife Linda of Morgan City, Rick DeHart and wife Rebecca of Pensacola, Florida, Warren DeHart and wife Challie of Bayou L'Ourse; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Rena was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Elton DeHart; second husband Allen Deslatte; two grandsons, Jason DeHart and Paul Rice; thirteen brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Noas Kerketta officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Following Mass Rena will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
