Robert Joseph Guillory Sr.

Robert Joseph Guillory Sr., 61, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away, Thursday, April 09, 2009 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Robert is the owner of Guillory’s Fish Company in Amelia. He enjoyed watching movies and going to the Casinos. Robert loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Robert is survived by his wife, Brenda Guillory of Morgan City, one son, Robert Guillory Jr. of Bayou L’Ourse, two daughters, Robin Garner of Morgan City, Deseray Guillory of Bayou L’Ourse, two brothers, Joe Guillory of Chackbay and Jerry Guillory of Bayou Vista, five sisters, Myrtle Boudreaux of Bayou L’Ourse, Louise Fontenot of Patterson, Anna Belle Chaisson of Bayou Vista, Evelyn Olivier of Pierre Part and Rose Freeman of Morgan City. Robert is also survived by six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Florence Guillory, two brothers, Bernie and Lloyd Guillory, one sister, Jean Barrilleaux. The family will receive friends, Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm. The visitation will resume Monday, April 13, 2009 at Twin City Funeral Home from 9am until 11am. Funeral services will commence at 11am. Robert will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
