Charles "Charlie" Comeaux Jr.

Charles “Charlie” Comeaux Jr., 62, a resident of Stephensville and a native of Morgan City, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009 in Houma. Charlie enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. Charlie was proud to have served his country in the United States Army. Charlie is survived by his wife Velma Dale Comeaux of Stephensville, one son, Charles “Chuck” Comeaux III and his wife Shannon of Morgan City, two step-sons, Jon Ard of Bayou L’Ourse, Jody Ard of Lake Arthur, two step-daughters, Julie Ard of Patterson, Jane Gobert of Lafayette, his mother, Vina Comeaux of Morgan City, one brother, Perry Comeaux and his wife Rhonda of Labadeville and one sister Carol Young of Morgan City. Charlie is also survived by three grandchildren, eight step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren. Charlie was preceded in death by his father, Charles Comeaux Sr., grandson, Chris Stephens, brother-inlaw, Aswell Young and his grandparents, Clopha and Elisa Solar, James and Emma Comeaux. The visitation will be held Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm. The visitation will resume Monday, April 27, 2009 at Twin City Funeral Home from 9am until 11am. The funeral service will commence at 11am. Charlie will be laid rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
