Kristi Guillot Borel

Kristi Guillot Borel, 36, a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016. She was born on January 13, 1980 in Morgan City, the daughter of Lloyd Guillot and Karen Sellers Guillot. Kristi was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend that will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and being on the boat. She also had an affinity for animals, especially "Iggy" the iguana. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Miles Borel of Bayou Vista; parents, Lloyd and Karen Guillot of Bayou Vista; two sons, Tre' Borel of Morgan City, Ty Borel of Bayou Vista; two daughters, Keallie Borel of New Iberia, Milynn Borel of Bayou Vista; brother, Kevin Guillot and wife Erin of Baton Rouge; aunt, Bonnie McManus; uncles, Shelby Guillot, Galen Guillot, Kenneth Sellers; maternal grandmother, Alice "Big MeMe" Sellers; paternal grandparents, Dudley and Lydia Michel; nephews, Evan, Tyler; nieces, Cassie, Brynn, Aria, and Taylynn; mother-in-law, Melba Borel; brother-in-law, Michael Borel; sister-in-law, Marla Domangue; and all of her cousins. Kristi is preceded in death by her brother, Kelin Guillot; grandfather, Claude "Tobe" Sellers; uncles, Brady Guidry, Ted McManus; aunt, Alice "Nanny" Guarisco; father-in-law, Micheal Borel grandmother-in-law, Gertrude B. Borel. Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 9am until 11am. A Funeral Service will begin at 11am. Kristi will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery.
