John Calvin "JC" Sellers

John Calvin Sellers, 57, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Stephensville, passed away at Teche Regional Medical Center, Thursday, May 14, 2009. “JC” as he was known, enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening, he would take care of any animals that would come around. “JC” never met a stranger, and he would give the shirt off his back to help someone. “JC” loved his family and friends. He will be missed. Survived by his Pop, Wilson "Jack" Tassin, Brother Randy and Christy Tassin of Lafayette, LA, Sisters, Penny and Gerald Crappell of Stephensville, LA, Delaine and Mark Henry of Abbeville, LA and Jackie Benson of New Iberia, LA. Other survivors include numerous nieces and nephews as well as his wife's children, Shiloh, Joyce and Richard Lang and their children and Grandchildren and his best friend Mark Price. He was preceded in death by his Mom, Betty Jo Tassin, his wife Dot Lang and her son, Glenn "Pappy" Lang, and his sister Kathy Sellers. The graveside service will be held Friday, 22, 2009 at the Morgan City Cemetery at 10am.
