Paul Polk Jr., 50, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was born on June 18, 1965 in Marks, Mississippi the son of Henry Paul Polk and Annie Charlene Pinion Polk.
Paul enjoyed being in the outdoors hunting and fishing, but he could always be found outside tinkering with something; he was man who was always on the go. He loved spending time with his family but especially loved the time he got to spend with his grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Dena Mullins Polk of Morgan City; three children, Craig Mullins and fiancé Hoang Nguyen of Thibodaux, Christopher Polk and fiancé Mindy Robicheaux of Bayou Vista, Sarah Polk of Columbia, La.; daughter-in-law, Violeta Mullins; seven grandchildren, Camila Gutierrez, Ethan Mullins, Giovanna Mullins, Anna-Faith Spangler, Issabella Grace Spangler, Alena Mullins, Timothy Landry; one brother, Terry Polk; mother-in-law, Carla Picou; father-in-law, Paul Mullins of Oregonia, Ohio.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Paul Polk and Annie Charlene Pinion Polk; one son, United States Marine Corps GYSGT Gregory Mullins.
Private services will be held at a later date.
