Frida Thompson

Frida Bijeaux Thompson, 89, a resident of Berwick and a native of Lydia, passed away at her residence, Thursday, June 4, 2009. Frida is survived by two sons, Aubrey Thompson and his wife Vickie of Berwick, Clint Thompson of Berwick, three daughters, Luanna Amadore and her husband Stanley of Bayou Sale, Goldie Marin and her husband Donald of Bayou Sale and Wanda Thompson of Berwick. Frida is also survived by one sister, Mathilda Anslem of Berwick, 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Frida was preceded in death by her husband, Marchel “Bud” Thompson, three sons, Marshall, Lawrence and Ward Thompson, her parents, Alberie and Lydia Stoute Bijeaux, one brother, Raymond Bijeaux Sr., one sister, Irene Beadle and one grandson, Ward Clinton Thompson. The visitation will be held Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm, resuming Sunday, June 7, 2009 from 10am until 2pm. The funeral service will commence at 2pm at Twin City Funeral Home. Frida will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery.
