Herbert Henry Estave

Herbert Henry Estave, 93, a resident of Berwick, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Herbert was born on June 3, 1923 in Bayou L'Ourse the son of Henry and Olymphe Boudreaux Estave. Herbert was a lifetime dedicated member of the Berwick Knights of Columbus Council 3084. He was a devoted church parishioner and humble servant of the Lord. He will be forever missed by his family and community in which he served. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 71 years, Gertrude Bergeron Estave; one daughter Madeline Hamilton and husband Dink; five grandchildren. Herbert was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Olymphe Boudreaux Estave; one son, Donald Estave. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Twin City Funeral Home with a visitation being held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Following the services Herbert will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery Mausoleum with Military Honors rendered by the East St. Mary Veterans Funeral Squad.
