Sterling Adam Scully

Sterling Adam Scully, 52, a resident of Morgan City, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016. He was born on October 9, 1964, in Morgan City, the son of Edward Scully Sr and Velma Dupre Scully. Sterling was a true outdoorsman that loved being on the boat, whether it be to fish or go crabbing. He was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Amelia. He was a loving son, father, grandfather and friend that will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his son, Cory Scully and fiancé Jerilyn Breaux of Patterson; three daughters, Sabrina Scully of Morgan City, Lacey Scully of Morgan City, Christian Cuvillier of Wagner, Ok; two brothers, Edward Scully Jr and wife Patty of Amelia, Anthony Scully Sr and wife Shelly of Amelia; two grandchildren; and numerous extended family. Sterling is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Scully Sr and Velma Dupre Scully; and brother, Roger Scully Sr. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
