David Nicholas Arcemont

David Nicholas Arcemont, 67, a resident of Morgan City, went to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. David was born on September 17, 1948 in Morgan City the son of Nick Joseph Arcemont Sr. and Olive Landry Arcemont. David was the eldest son of 10 siblings. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Lauren Melancon Arcemont of Morgan City; two sons, David C. Arcemont and wife Andree of Plano, Texas and Mark J. Arcemont and Trey Hammett of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, Madison Arcemont, Mackenzie Arcemont, Grayson Arcemont and Hadley Arcemont; also surviving are seven siblings. David was preceded in death by his parents, Nick Joseph Arcemont Sr. and Olive Landry Arcemont; one sister, Maria Arcemont; one brother, Jude Arcemont. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Wilfredo Decal officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with the rosary being prayed at 11:00 a.m. Following Mass David will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. His family requests in lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Central Catholic High School.
