Patricia Ann Jensen

Patricia Ann O'Leary Jensen, 82, a resident of Morgan City, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016. She was born on February 5, 1934 in New Orleans, the daughter of Edward O'Leary and Margaret Williamson O'Leary. Patricia was a true example of a mother. She loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend that will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Linda Johnson of Statesboro, Ga, Robert Jensen and wife Phyllis of Berwick, Glenn Jensen of New Orleans, Stephen Jensen and wife Nit of Marana, Az, Diane Bergeron of Houma, brothers, Jerry O'Leary and wife Judith of New Orleans, Tim O'Leary and wife Maria of New Orleans; sister in laws, Boonie O'Leary and Evelyn Stephens; grandchildren, Gretchen, Paul, Blaine, Ryan, Tyler, Grant, Drew, Katie, Seth, Maria, Elizabeth, Evelyn, Brett; and seven great grandchildren. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Edward O'Leary Sr and Margaret Williamson O'Leary; daughter, Kathy Sherman and late husband Charles; brother Edward O'Leary Jr; and grandson, Joey Jensen. Visitation services will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 10am until 12pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12pm at Holy Cross, following visitation. Patricia will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following Mass. Serving as Pall Bearers will be Patricia's grandsons; Paul Johnson, Blaine Johnson, Ryan Jensen, Tyler Jensen, Grant Sherman, Drew Sherman, Seth Jensen, and Brett Bergeron. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Holy Cross Elementary School, 2100 Cedar Street, Unit 2, Morgan City, La 70380.
