James “Jimmie” Wilson Beadle Sr, 79, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Teche Regional Medical Center.
He was born on July 14, 1937 in Morgan City, the son of Wilson Woodrow Beadle and Alberta Fernandez Bolotte.
Jimmie was a renowned story teller who loved life and lived it to the fullest. He began his working career by enlisting in the Army National Guard twice. After his service, he began driving trucks in the oil and gas industry working his way up eventually becoming Vice President of Patterson Truck Lines in Houma, LA. Jimmie was a Western enthusiast, as well as a cigar aficionado. He was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend that will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his two sons, James "Jim" Beadle Jr of Lafayette, Wade Beadle of Louisburg, NC; brother, John Beadle of Lafayette; brother in law, Sydney Raymond of Morgan City; three grandchildren, Brandi Viator, Sam J. Beadle, Megan Beadle; two great grandchildren, Lilah and Aaliyha; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
James is preceded in death by his parents, Wilson Woodrow Beadle and Alberta Fernandez Bolotte; wife, Shirley Beadle and sister Elnora "Nonnie" Raymond.
Visitation services will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 9am until 11am. Funeral services will begin at 11am. James will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
