Mary "Meanie" A. Willis

Mary A. "Meanie" Willis, 79, a resident of Bayou L'Ourse, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Teche Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born on August 17, 1937 in Morgan City the daughter of Louis and Beulah Gros Aucoin. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by five children, Sherry Morris, Tammy Kleimann, Karen Montet and husband Mark, Robert Kleimann all of Bayou L'Ourse, Jerry Cedatol and wife Yvonda of North Carolina; two step children, Candace Willis Christian and Darrell Willis; six grandchildren, Jobe, Nikki Jo, Shandeal, Matthew, Samantha and Valeria; 13 great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Beulah Gros Aucoin; husband Laurie F. "Pop" Willis; two daughters, Billie Kleimann Legendre and Vicky Kleimann; one grandson, Billy Joe Holcomb; one step daughter, Carman Willis Kennedy; three sisters, Elsie, Della and Clem; six brothers, Clinton, Bill, Floyd, Harry, T-Boy, Nippy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Twin City Funeral Home with Rev. Charley Driskill officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Twin City Funeral Home with the visitation resuming from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Following the services Mary will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
